Nils Økland (fiddle), Roar Engelberg (pan flute), Eilif Moe (guitar, vocals), Per Karang (piano) and Pål Thorstensen (double bass) - together this wild bunch set Oslo's free-spirited musical life alight in the 1980s. No music was foreign to them, but often it was tango, virtuosic Romani and folk music from Hungary and Romania, or perhaps a song by Arne Bendiksen, that echoed between the walls. Now they gather again, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of their somewhat rough-around-the-edges record "Årsrapport". Musical club host Gabriel Fliflet was a guest on the record, and will likely also appear on stage this time. Once a royal residence, it has hosted kings and queens, commanders, and prisoners alike. Discover its rise to prominence as a medieval royal palace on Holmen, its decline in the late Middle Ages, and the remarkable restoration that returned it to its former glory after the war. Historical Highlights: • At the close of the 10th century, Christ Church was erected as the first building on Holmen, alongside a bishopric and monastery. • In the early 12th century, the royal residence was constructed in wood, and by the 1200s, it was transformed into a grand stone building by King Håkon Håkonsson. • Magnus Lagabøte, son of Håkon, built the fortress by the sea in 1270 – today, part of the Rosenkrantz Tower. • In the 1500s, the royal residence was converted into Bergenhus Fortress, marking a shift in its purpose. • After centuries of neglect and use as storage space, restoration work began in the 19th century, and following an explosion in 1944, it was painstakingly restored to its current magnificent state. Hella the Movie is a duo consisting of siblings Frida and Gard Songstad Hella from Geilo. They have sung and played together their whole lives, and the music springs from a shared upbringing marked by friendship, adventure and a mutual love of music. The duo is joined by their regular percussionist Michał Nietyksza. The project moves in a landscape between soul, folk and alternative rock, with a clear focus on storytelling, interplay, harmonies and emotional delivery. They make music that feels like an inner film. The name comes both from their surname and a fascination with film's ability to open new perspectives. Hella the Movie is in the process of releasing their debut EP Biorhythm, which consists of six songs. This was created during the grieving process following their father's passing, and reflects conversations about identity, love, belonging and relationships. The blend of genres represents growing up with varied music in their ears, and a worldview based on the idea that everything is connected in the grand scheme of things. Welcome to a hammock festival with porridge and games at Skomakerstuen Sleeping in a hammock under the open sky brings you especially close to nature. Fall asleep on a beautiful autumn evening and wake up to birdsong – and perhaps you will catch glimpses of hares and squirrels hiding in the forest? If you do not wish to stay overnight but just hang out with us into the evening, that is of course perfectly fine. Food & drinks and games at Skomakerstuen You can pre-order delicious evening porridge with toppings that will be available from 16:00-20:00. Hot drinks and snacks are available until 20:00 at Skomakerstuen. In addition we put out fun board games that you can borrow when you come inside to warm up. We light several bonfires you can warm yourself around, hang up fairy lights and are on hand to make the festival extra cosy in the autumn darkness. Good to know You must bring your own hammock. The event is suitable for everyone. Toilet facilities will be available throughout the festival. Bring warm clothes, a head torch or hand torch, a sleeping bag and a hammock with suspension. The last Fløibanen down in the evening departs at 00:00. The next morning it starts running at 08:00. Skomakerstuen is open 16:00-20:00 Fløyen hosts are present 16:00-20:00

Amalie Holt Kleive is an artist, songwriter and producer with an expression that lives in contrasts. She combines electronica, jazz and ballad pop in music that is both tender and danceable, serious and playful. Amalie's debut album «De løper der jeg går» (2022) was met with glowing reviews, and was described by Morgenbladet as a sign of a bright future for Norwegian pop. Earlier this year the follow-up «Vi er de evige» arrived, and here the musical expression is continued and further developed. The album is written and produced in collaboration with Vetle Junker, Peder Kolsung, Fredrik Svabø and Njål Paulsberg. Vi er de evige mirrors fragments from Amalie's own life over the last four years – a period marked by travels around the world with Aurora and Tomora, encounters with countless people and a high tempo that has at times challenged her inherent calm. The experiences have made her more attentive to what feels eternal in life: Those who never leave, that which always remains. Amalie and the band played to a full Parkteateret in Oslo in March, and now it is finally time for a release party at Landmark in Bergen. «Vi er de evige» is curious, brave and open pop, where intricate touches find simple, harmonic forms and complex emotions find fundamentally simple yet effective words. Handel tended to work fast, but never quite as fast as in the summer of 1741, when he found himself in the grip of total inspiration while at work on his outstanding masterpiece, Messiah. What resulted was a work of incredible dramatic range, colossal imagination and huge variety – all underpinned by a sense of community and generosity. A hybrid of German, Italian and English musical styles, Messiah changed the landscape of choral music in Britain. It continues to transcend cultural, geographical or religious boundaries with its message of peace, goodwill, sacrifice and charity. Messiah’s rousing choruses and touching solos – its moments of deep reflection and uplifting celebration – are likely to sound particularly fresh under the musical leadership of Matthew Halls, who made his name with baroque music. Halls has first-rate solo and choral singers with him for this performance at the Grieg Hall which will anticipate the start of the festive season with brilliance.

Kvartetten har spesielt fått oppmerksomhet for sitt ensemblespill og The Strad skrev dette om Haydns «Drøm», et av verkene vi skal få høre på konserten i november: In the finale, the quartet's ability to let go and fly together as a well-oiled unit was marvellously unleashed. Marmen vant den den prestisjetunge BBC Music Magazine Award for beste kammermusikk-utgivelse i 2025. Dette er en pris hvor en fagjury plukker ut kandidater fra alle verdenshjørner og publikum fra hele verden stemmer frem en vinner. Program: Joseph Haydn: Strykekvartett i F-dur, op. 50 nr. 5, Hob.
