Voss è una graziosa cittadina nel cuore della Norvegia dei fiordi, tra Bergen, il Sognefjord e l’Hardangerfjord.

Durante i mesi invernali Voss si trasforma in una mecca per lo sci, con piste sia da discesa sia da fondo per tutta la famiglia.

Nel complesso le due stazioni sciistiche di Myrkdalen Mountain Resort e Voss Resort hanno 70 chilometri di piste e 20 impianti di risalita, oltre ad aree perfette per il fuori pista.

La funivia di Voss ti porta dalla stazione a valle fino sul monte Hanguren (820 metri sul livello del mare) in meno di nove minuti, in tutti i periodi dell’anno.

Una volta in cima sarai ricompensato da una vista panoramica mozzafiato sul paese, da sentieri escursionistici di ogni livello di difficoltà, e da deliziosi cibi locali nel ristorante più grande di Voss.

Questa regione è famosa per la sua cucina norvegese tradizionale.

Fai una visita alla fattoria Smalahovetunet, del XVIII secolo, per assaggiare alcune delle specialità locali come “rømmegrøt”, un porridge di panna acida, carne essiccata, e “pinnekjøtt”, costolette di agnello al vapore.
