Ci sono tre attraversamenti in traghetto nel Nordfjord: Lote–Anda, Stårheim–Isane e Måløy–Oldeide.

In treno
Puoi prendere il treno per Otta da Oslo o da Trondheim. Da Otta prosegui il viaggio per il Nordfjord in pullman.
Puoi anche prendere la famosa linea ferroviaria Flåmsbana per Flåm, e da lì un pullman per il Nordfjord.

In auto
Se scegli di arrivare in auto da Oslo o da Trondheim segui la E6 per Otta e poi la Rv15 fino a Stryn. Da Oslo è anche possibile percorrere la E16 per Sogn.
Da Bergen e da Ålesund segui la E39 per tutto il tragitto.

Sia l'aeroporto di Sandane sia l’aeroporto di Ørsta-Volda sono in posizione centrale per raggiungere il Nordfjord. Questi aeroporti hanno voli diretti da Bergen (1 ora) e da Oslo (1 ora), e voli in coincidenza verso molte città norvegesi.
L'aeroporto di Ålesund si trova a due ore e mezza di auto dal Nordfjord e offre buoni collegamenti con Oslo e con altre città norvegesi ed europee.
