The restaurant “The Hill 1125” stands proudly atop Hovden in the Oppdal Ski Center. This iconic establishment is a signature landmark of Oppdal, visible from the village below. Both locals from Oppdal, cabin-goers, and tourists from near and far come to enjoy the magnificent panoramic view and to taste the exciting offerings from the kitchen. At “The Hill 1125”, you can indulge in Italian pizza baked in a traditional wood-fired stone oven, delicious sandwiches, soups and stews, cakes and chocolates, and not to forget, freshly baked cinnamon buns. The restaurant’s opening hours are aligned with the seasons. During the winter season, it is open whenever the Hovden lift is operating – every weekend as well as on Thursdays and Fridays. Røros church - also called "The pride of the mining town" - was built in the golden age of the Røros Copper Company. Stiklestad National Culture Centre
The Battle of Stiklestad in 1030 Norways most famous historic battle, where the Christian Viking King Olav Haraldsson fell. He later became known as St. Olav. This battle is considered the most important happening leading to the consolidation of Norways as a kingdom and Christianities definitive breakthrough in Norway. The St. Olav Drama and Festival The history experiences are numerous at Stiklestad today. Norways oldest and largest open air theatre "The St. Olav Drama" is the most famous, depicting the events before and after the battle. The play is performed yearly during the "St. Olav Days at Stiklestad" at the end of July. During the festival days, it is heaving with life and you can experience concerts, plays, guided tours, lectures, excursions and activities for the whole family. In addition, you can visit the medieval market, where you can experience medieval music, juggling and theatre. Good craftsmen from all over the country can be found in tents and stalls, wearing medieval clothes and demonstarting their skills. Viking Summer During the summer season, "Viking Summer", there are daily adventures for kids and adults. At the medieval farm Stiklastadir, take a step 1000 years back in time, and at the folk museum, experience life a 100 years ago, where the tableu theatre "Arvesølvet (the silver heirloom)" is featured. End your visit with temptations from the museum café in Molåna or visit the restaurant “Skalden” in the culture centre/hotel. Stiklestad National Culture Centre and Hotel The culture centre is open all year with exhibitions, museum shop, restaurant/café and meetings and conference facilities. In the area Stiklestad Church from 1180, amfi theatre, catholic chapel and folk museum with 30 historic buildings from the 1600 -1800 hundreds.

Forbord Dome is an exclusive glamping experience for two people in the heart of nature. You can sleep under the stars, enjoy the panoramic view over the Trondheimsfjorden, catch a magical sunset or see the fantastic northern lights if you're lucky. The dome is a full 23 square meters with a window in the roof and in the front and it is placed on a terrace on two levels with a seating area and fire pit. There are many great hiking opportunities in the area, how about a trip to the top of Forbordsfjellet? The dome is centrally located approx. 10 minutes from Trondheim Airport Værnes in Stjørdal and approx. 40 min. from Trondheim. The dome is placed by itself in the hillside up towards Forbordsfjellet, approx. 300 m.a.s.l and is open all year around. There are two parking options and the distance from parking to the dome is from 600-1500 meters depending on parking/route. You walk on a forest road from the car park to get all the way to the dome. In the dome there is a king-size double bed and a seating area for two people. There is plenty of heat in the dome (wood stove/diesel heater), but we recommend bringing warm clothes on cold days. You don't have to leave the dome to go to the bathroom, it has a separate room with a toilet. You are welcome to bring a dog or other pets, but due to allergies, these cannot be inside the dome. We do have a great dog house outside though. There is 10 liters of drinking water in the dome on arrival, otherwise little access to clean drinking water. You also have access to a primus and two saucepans for easy cooking. Remember that the primus must be used outdoors. There is also a grill grate for the brazier that can be used for grilling. Free access to tea and coffee.

Here you can spend the night in a sleeping carriage from the 1960s, in the middle of Namsen. This is a carriage that Gunde Svan once bought from Norway and we have bought back. Here you will find 10 compartments with 2 beds in each overlooking the river. Good mattresses in each bed. In each couch there is a washbasin with hot and cold water. The rooms are kept virtually identical to when the wagon was in operation. The sleeping carriage and the sanitary carriage are separated from the other cars by a distance of about 20 meters where there is a large seating area. This is reserved for overnight guests. Here you can enjoy the silence and calm with something good in the glass. In connection with the sleeping carriage there is a sanitary carriage with toilets, showers and a small drying room.

Sommerfjøset: This cozy cabin, formerly a summer barn, lies just 200 meters below Yttervik, offering the same breathtaking view. It features a downstairs double room, a living room, kitchen, and bathroom. Upstairs, you'll find four beds of varying sizes (140, 120, 120, and 90), accommodating 2-7 people comfortably. The Stabbur suite: A charming building from the 1930s, the old storehouse boasts one of the finest vantage points on the farm. Here, you can greet the morning sun and bid adieu to the day's light, all while savoring sweeping views of Hjelbotn and Follafjella. A recent extension in spring 2023 has introduced modern amenities, including a bathroom with running water and drainage, electricity, internet access, and a balcony offering adventurous vistas. Staying in the storehouse now promises complete comfort and lasting memories. The Battle of Stiklestad in 1030 Norways most famous historic battle, where the Christian Viking King Olav Haraldsson fell. He later became known as St. Olav. This battle is considered the most important happening leading to the consolidation of Norways as a kingdom and Christianities definitive breakthrough in Norway. The St. Olav Drama and Festival The history experiences are numerous at Stiklestad today. Norways oldest and largest open air theatre "The St. Olav Drama" is the most famous, depicting the events before and after the battle. The play is performed yearly during the "St. Olav Days at Stiklestad" at the end of July. During the festival days, it is heaving with life and you can experience concerts, plays, guided tours, lectures, excursions and activities for the whole family. In addition, you can visit the medieval market, where you can experience medieval music, juggling and theatre. Good craftsmen from all over the country can be found in tents and stalls, wearing medieval clothes and demonstarting their skills. A COLD WARRIOR DIES - THE MYSTERY OF OLA DAN EIDE
The fighter pilot and air intelligence officer Ola Dan Eide died during the most dramatic period of the Cold War. Norwegian attack plans against Soviet targets, tactical nuclear weapons and espionage are the backdrop to the story of Ola Dan Eide. On the night of November 15, 1963, Ola Dan Eide is found dead in his room in command quarters G at Bodø main air station. Police officer Tore H. Sund enters room 106, but the body has already been taken away. There were clothes strewn across the floor, the bedclothes torn off, there is vomit and urine in the bed and blood spatter on the wall. On the front of the casket he sees an A, drawn in chalk. Photographs from Bodø Hospital show Ola Dan with large scratch marks on his neck, naked from the waist down. Back home in Bardufoss, 25-year-old Gerd Eide is waiting for a phone call from Ola Dan. Late at night she receives the devastating news that her great love has been found dead. Gerd never tells the truth, not even to the couple's own daughter Berit. After a short time, the police drop the case. The story of Ola Dan Eide and the suspicious death is forgotten - almost. Gerd Eide dies of cancer in 2014. For Berit Eide Skjørtvedt, her mother's death is the start of the search for her own story. The story of Ola Dan has been Åsted Norge's cold case throughout the fall of 2025. A large number of tips have been received in the case that will be followed up by Åsted Norge in the spring of 2026. Listen to the exciting lecture by: Dag Inge Korstad (b. 1970) has worked in the Air Force since 1990. He has his military education from the Air Force Academy and a master's degree from the Norwegian National Defence University. He also has a civilian education from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in history and social studies. In recent years, he has researched and immersed himself in Norwegian air force history, especially from the beginning of the Cold War. He has previously participated as a co-author in various professional books. This is his first independent publication. "Expectations". For what then? Love? Hope? Joy? This is an album Andreas Unsvaag has been working on for almost 4 years. This is a journey from sorrow to joy and back to sorrow again. On January 27, Andreas Unsvaag will play music from this album for the first time in Trondheim. The journey started on New Year's Eve at Storhaug in Stavanger with the song "Danse Aleine", and the last song was written in the summer of 2024 when Unsvaag needed to say "Kom Hjem". In between there has been the "Fear" of racism, the hope for the "Thought of Perfect", or the question of "Will it happen this time?". The bad thing about it is that feelings are just a "Deception", a game of a longing to be "With You". Maybe it's all just a made-up "Fantasy" that you think about, while you're on your way home with "12 Kjelsås". But "if only I could fly"..

Etter ein langvarig krig ønskjer ho å gi bror sin ei verdig grav, men kongen meiner broren var ein landsforrædar utan menneskeverd, og vil derfor ikkje gi han ei grav. Barbed Wire tilbake til Ray's Bar !!! Barbed Wire er et knallhardt, kompromissløst rockeband fra Midt-Norge som har satt fyr på de norske rockescenene i hele 15 år. Bandet ble først dannet tidlig på 2000-tallet under et annet navn, men skiftet til det ikoniske Barbed Wire ved nyttår i 2009. I løpet av disse årene har Barbed Wire ristet fundamentene med 7 kraftfulle utgivelser, delt rockeenergi gjennom nærmere 400 konserter, og knyttet bånd med noen av de største rockeband. De har stått som support for legendariske navn som Nazareth, Twisted Sister, The Darkness, Marky Ramone, Slade, Phil Rudd, TNT, WASP, Backstreet Girls ++, og mange flere. En særlig bemerkelsesverdig milepæl for bandet var samarbeidet med AC/DC's første vokalist før Bon Scott, Dave Evans. Dette resulterte i albumet "Wild" i 2017, og bandet har også turnert sammen med den legendariske sangeren. Barbed Wire, med sin energiske tilnærming til rock, fortsetter å dominere scenen og ser frem til å levere mer rock'n'roll kraft til fans overalt. Bring your own record / Listening party av PME-ART
The audience is invited to a small gathering where everyone can bring their own records or play music from their phone, and tell a story in a relaxed setting. A record player and a stack of vinyl records. For each record there is at least one story to tell. The stories come from their own and others' lives, gossip, magazines, friends and strangers. One by one the records are put on, and the stories grow out of the previous one and into the next. This performance is played over two evenings; on the first evening the impressive collection of records is played in random order, and the company tells the stories about them. On the second evening the audience is invited to bring their own records, and tell their stories about them. This is evening two, which takes place in Rosendal Café. Each performance the records are played in a new order. Each evening opens up to new stories, and the result is an astonishingly precise and heartwarming performance, a journey through art, politics and love, seen through songs they both love and hate. The performance is part of PME-ART’s long-term exploration of hospitality, a work that examines how to create an open space for listening and community. Bring Your Own Record/Listening Party Audiences are invited to a small gathering where everyone can bring their own records or play music from their phone, and tell a story in a relaxed setting, in the same way that the performers from PME-ART do the night before, during The DJ Who Gave Too Much Information. Here, people can come together to listen, to think about what the songs do to us, and what we do with them. Listening to music with friends and strangers is an activity that is characterized by politics, questions, personal experience and stories of all kinds. This project, which has now been performed for fifteen years, comes from PME-ART’s research on the theme of hospitality, about how to welcome the audience into a space to come together with the artists. It is an attempt to create an inviting, relaxed place where many different types of music open up countless directions in which humor and thought can move. This is PME-ART's most popular performance, and every year more records and stories are added, which go into a strange archive of the work.
