Have you ever seen a large brown rock move? Probably not, but that’s often how the first sighting of a musk ox appears. These large, peaceful creatures, weighing up to 400 kg, blend seamlessly with their surroundings. It's only when they move that you realize it's a musk ox. Occasionally, you may also come across reindeer herds and ptarmigans during these guided excursions.
