We would like to welcome you to Røste Hyttetun & Camping This camping site is situated in Os municipality, the most northerly municipality in the county of Hedmark. It is only 12 km to Røros, a town that appears on UNESCO's World Heritage List because of its timber-built town centre. The camping site is small and ideal for families. There are 10 cabins, from basic standard to high standard in well-equipped cabins. There are also room foe about 20 caravans. On the site there are common advantage a living room with television, a kitchen, a washing machine and a tumble drier. The sanitary conditions are of high standard. There is also a playground. Different activities, summer and winter, are within short distances. It will take you 10 minutes by car to Røros. The river Glomma runs only 150 meters from the site for those who are fond of fishing. A winter activities complex with skilifts is abot 4 km away. The camping site is in the middle of an excellent area for walking. It is 5 km to Nørdalen Nature and culture trails which was chosen to be the best outdoor area in 1995. Not far from here you can also go riding or take a trip in a dog sled in the winter.
