… alla Stazione Centrale di Oslo …

… il treno poi si dirige verso ovest attraverso i sobborghi di Asker, Bærum e Drammen, prima di addentrarsi nella campagna.

1. Valle di Hallingdal

Dopo aver viaggiato per circa due ore raggiungerai la stazione di Flå nella magnifica vallata di Hallingdal, una destinazione che offre tante attività per tutta la famiglia!

Vieni a incontrare gli orsi al parco Bjørneparken, a circa 2 chilometri dalla stazione. Qui potrai vedere anche i rari leopardi dell’Amur, oltre ad alci, linci, coccodrilli e altri animali …

Il treno oltrepassa poi Nesbyen prima di arrivare a Gol, da cui ci sono ottimi collegamenti in pullman per …

… Hemsedal (a 30 minuti di distanza), una delle migliori località sciistiche della Norvegia in inverno, e paradiso per gli escursionisti in estate.

Prova l’emozionante via ferrata o fai downhill in mountain bike!

La valle di Hallingdal è una mecca per gli appassionati di mountain bike e si possono noleggiare le bici vicino alla maggior parte delle stazioni.

Ål, la stazione ferroviaria successiva, ha anche proposte di pernottamento perfette per i ciclisti, oltre a piste, pump track e sentieri.

Anche Hallingdal Feriepark è raggiungibile a piedi dalla stazione di Ål …

… questo parco vacanze è pieno di attività divertenti per tutta la famiglia, tra cui un parco di arrampicata, zipline, un grande parco giochi al coperto, una fattoria e molto altro.

2. Geilo

Geilo, paesino di montagna situato a metà strada tra Oslo e Bergen (a circa 3 ore e mezza di treno da entrambe le città), è perfetto per le attività outdoor.

In inverno è una delle località sciistiche più popolari della Norvegia, mentre in estate puoi …

… salire la panoramica scala di montagna Prestholtstien fino alla cima del monte Hallingskarvet.

O volare su una delle zipline più lunghe dell’Europa settentrionale nello Geilo Summer Park, dove puoi anche provare il downhill in mountain bike e molte altre attività.

Potrai anche pescare, andare a cavallo, o fare rafting: c’è veramente tanto tra cui scegliere!

3. Hardangervidda

Passato Geilo il treno sale sull’altopiano di Hardangervidda.

La ferrovia supera le stazioni di Ustaoset e di Haugastøl, situate in uno splendido ambiente naturale di alta montagna, prima di raggiungere la tappa preferita di Gudrun …

Finse è un minuscolo villaggio di montagna che si può raggiungere soltanto in treno.

Da qui in estate puoi partire per uno dei percorsi ciclabili più panoramici della Norvegia, Rallarvegen (puoi iniziare anche da Haugastøl), oppure imparare a fare snowkite in inverno.

5. Voss
