Concerti in Norvegia

TULUS + Visegard || Hulen CC: 350/280 ID: 18 ---------- Tulus TULUS was founded in 1991 in Nittedal, Norway, and is the firstblack metalband Blodstrupand Sarke from Khold played in. The debut album was recorded in 1996. TULUS will forever be an underground cult act, and they have always kept true to their own style of primitive yet groovy, cold, filthy black metal. With the exception of "Biography Obscene" they have kept the lyrics in Norwegian. In 2019, the band's first three studio albums, "Pure Black Energy", "Mysterion" and "Evil 1999" were re-released on CD and for the first time ever on vinyl. In March 2020, their first new studio album since 8 years, "Old Old Death", was released, and the band played an exclusive festival appearance in Finland just before the world shut down. In 2022, the band played some select festivals, like Inferno and Karmøygeddon in Norway, and Netherlands Deathfest. December 30, the band premiered a documentary on the band's history and the making of the new album. In 2023, the band's seventh studio album, "Fandens Kall", was released by Soulseller Records. The band played some shows, including a festival appearance in Mexico. In 2026, the band has released their studio album number eight, "Morbid Desires", through Darkness Shall Rise Productions. The band will play at Party, San Open Air and further shows are planned. Blodstrup: Vocals/guitars Crowbel: Bass Sarke:Drums Visegard Visegard has roots in the classic 90s wave of dark and ice-cold black metal. The Telemark band blends folk belief, pagan tones and a brutality that earns them the right to reign on "En trone av gran"! For those in doubt – check out the song "Hvor Gausta rår"! In 2014 Visegard released their debut album "Burning the Path of Happiness" on digital platforms. It would take over 10 years before this album saw the light of day in physical format. Rising from the ashes came a remastered edition of the album, for the first time in physical format (LP, CD and MC) earlier this year. In addition to this brand new release, Visegard brings along the split album "Kirkegard" (2021), the EP "Skogsdømt" (2022) and the 7" vinyl "Høststormens Tilbakekomst" (2024) in their luggage.

    Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra: Cavalleria Rusticana

In his final season as Principal Guest Conductor, Sir Mark Elder leads a performance of the most concise and emotive opera in the Italian verisimo tradition. Cavalleria Rusticana is a tale of obsession, jealousy and love turning lethal set to some of the most heartbreaking music composed for the opera stage. On Easter Morning in a Sicilian village, a local woman shunned by her community and abandoned by her lover faces a choice: expose her former love’s affair with a married woman risking a very public vengeance, or allow the sacred rituals to mask injustice and drown-out her cries? Having led English National Opera at its height in the 1990s, Sir Mark Elder continues to conduct the leading opera companies of the world including the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia where he has been Music Director since 2025. He has assembled a first-class cast led by Ekaterina Semenchuk’s Santuzza for this concert performance of Pietro Mascagni’s emotive one-act opera, a piece of music theatre that can set the blood racing like few others.

Sigvart finally goes on hymn tour again "It is 30 years since my hymn record Det er makt i de foldede hender came out. At the time I was completely unprepared for the reception from the audience, which was quite simply overwhelming. One might have thought it was churchgoers who bought the record and came to the concerts, but it reached a much broader audience. I do not quite know why. But I felt myself that there was a power in these old songs, a power that did not leave me unaffected. And now I have not played them for a long time. And never before have we performed the entire record. But we are doing something about that this year: On the autumn church tour we will simply play the entire record. Live. In addition we play some of the most hymn-like of my own songs, as well as the odd one from the Hymns album. This will be a one-off occasion, and it will be wonderful! With me I have three fantastic musicians: Torjus Vierli on grand piano, David Wallumrød on Hammond organ and Espen Tappel on guitars. This will be fun!" Sigvart This concert is in Norwegian. Jubilee concert

The 1953 Festival reimagined in the 2027 opening concert. In the jubilee year of 2027, it's time to look towards history and towards the new with a concert inspired by the very first Bergen International Festival, combined with newly composed music. On Monday 1 June 1953, it was finally happening. The city of Bergen trembled with anticipation. The newspaper Dagbladet reported that a "festival buzz was sweeping through the city", describing how all of Bergen prepared for celebration: the England ferry was greeted by several choirs, trains from Oslo were met with brass bands and singing, there were processions in the streets, and concerts were held in every open square. At Torgallmenningen, flags from 30 nations were raised. 100 new flagpoles adorned the city, and every shop window was decorated in a Festival theme and with portraits of Edvard Grieg. In the evening, with King Haakon VII in attendance at Konsertpaleet, everything was ready for the Opening concert. The great sensation of 1953 was the world premiere of Klokkeklang in orchestral version, a "lost" piece by Edvard Grieg discovered among his posthumous papers. In this 2027 concert, Klokkeklang will be performed in three versions. The second sensation of 1953 was the arrival of the world-famous conductor Leopold Stokowski, who was persuaded to come to Bergen for the occasion. Under his direction, the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra performed Bach chorales and Harald Sæverud’s Kjempeviseslåtten. Beethoven’s Piano concerto no. 4 was originally on the programme for the 1953 opening concert but was never performed due to a last-minute cancellation by the pianist. Seventy-five years later, Artist in Residence Leif Ove Andsnes will perform the concerto's second and third movements. The concert also features a new commissioned work by composer Anna Aardalen, known for the music in Fantus Musikantus, a children’s favourite. In this way, historical repertoire is placed in dialogue with a new generation. The concert concludes with Maurice Ravel’s Boléro. Ravel met Grieg in person in Paris in 1894 and later visited Norway. He once said that "apart from Debussy, there is no composer I feel more closely related to than Grieg." In this way, the curtain rises for the 75th Bergen International Festival, which since its inception has been a meeting place between the local and the international, and between established traditions and new artistic expressions. Bloxham Tapes returns to Bergen Kjøtt with more experimental sounds for an unsound world! This time we are pleased to welcome two Tokyo-based musicians, David Thomas Broughton and Rob Noyes. DAVID THOMAS BROUGHTON Hailing from Otley, Yorkshire in the north of the UK, David Thomas Broughton has spent the last 20 years making music that intertwines beauty and discomfort, spanning solo projects and diverse collaborations and that seems designed to constantly keep us guessing as listeners. Broughton's live performances are known for their spontaneity and unpredictability, where Broughton continually reworks, dismantles and bends his music into new forms resulting in a show that blends intimacy, humour, improvisation and abstraction. His discography includes seminal one-take albums like his debut 'The Complete Guide to Insufficiency' and his collaboration with jazz-folk quartet 7 Hertz, 2010's 'Outbreeding' produced by Andy Ramsey (Stereolab), the feedback-laced 'UnAbleTo' cassette from 2013, and 2014's 'Sliding The Same Way' with vocal trio Juice. In 2016, he released the triple album opus 'Crippling Lack' where he collaborated remotely with various artists including Aidan Moffat, Beth Orton and Sam Amidon. Excitingly, a new album is on the horizon. This next release will be an improvised trio recording with acclaimed pianist Matthew Bourne and underground music's drum legend Neil Turpin. ROB NOYES Rob Noyes is an acclaimed composer and guitar player, originally from the Boston area, now residing in Tokyo, Japan. Starting in 2016, he established himself as a solo acoustic guitarist in the tradition of Robbie Basho, John Renbourn, Davey Graham, Michael Chapman, and Wizz Jones. Live Noyes is fierce, singular and genuinely breathtaking to watch. It is the kind of playing that lifts the spirits and reminds us of how exciting solo guitar can really be. In 2016, Rob released The Feudal Spirit on Boston's Poon Village label to wide acclaim featuring artwork by Raymond Pettibon. He followed that with the Arc Minutes LP on VDSQ. Rob has also released collaborations or split records with Joseph Allred, Alexander, Sam Moss, Ryan Lee Crosby, Greg Kelley, and Ayami Suzuki. ---<3--- ACCESS Bergen Kjøtt Bar (1. floor) has access from street level, welcomes service dogs and has toilet facilities available for all genders which are wheelchair accessible. Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra: Tchaikovsky and Brahms

Chief Conductor Designate Tabita Berglund joins fearless American pianist Kirill Gerstein for a concert dominated by big statements from two giants of music history. Originally a piano sonata, then a symphony, and eventually a piano concerto – Brahms’s work was initially dismissed as a misfire. But successive generations have better understood its combination of grand drama and conversational interplay, and we’ve never been more ready to be swept along by the concerto’s combination of grandiose majesty and intimate beauty. If Brahms’s concerto scales great heights, Tchaikovsky’s final symphony bring us back down to earth with gripping music about real life, real struggles and real tragedies. Tchaikovsky was dealing with unrequited love and the prospect of public shame when he composed his heartbreakingly autobiographical Pathétique symphony – perhaps the most vivid yet beautiful vision of darkness and exhaustion ever captured in music. Days after finishing his most emotionally intense symphony, the composer was dead.

    KNEKT// Fashion Victims// ASF// Kvarteret

KNEKT KNEKT is one of the most exciting names on the Norwegian rock scene – a band that combines uncompromising intensity with melodic nerve and a clearly distinctive voice in modern rock. The debut album "Livsnyter/Livshater" (2023) was the starting gun for KNEKT's head-first crash into the music scene in Norway. Here the band came with an expression rooted in classic rock, with a modern sound and an attitude of the highest order. In 2025 the explosive EP "Dere som lever" followed. A release that confirms KNEKT as a band in motion. Yeah damn, you need sunglasses when you listen to the music. Live, KNEKT have already established themselves as a band made for large arenas. With performances at festivals such as Malakoff, Raumarock and Jugendfest the band has flexed its muscles on some of the country's biggest stages. But let us not forget the clubs! KNEKT gives everything and sweats it out regardless of size and day of the week. KNEKT is the treat you need live, just as good as when you need a shot of music from the speakers straight to the head. With extensive new music expected in 2026, KNEKT moves forward at two hundred and fifty percent! Fashion Victims Fashion Victims deliver catchy powerpop/pop-punk. «The young rockers in Fashion Victims play the kind of music that makes you want to jump around the living room, take a running start and slam your head and body into the wall in pure euphoria». (Dust of Daylight). The debut single «Such a Bore» was described as «one of the best Norwegian songs in its genre» (NRK P13) and «fantastically good» (Adresseavisen). The band made their album debut in February 2024 to a good reception from the press and audience with radio listings on NRK P3 and P13, good reviews and new gigs. The band concluded their album tour at a sold-out Sentrum Scene where they warmed up for punk rock legends "Bad Religion" and are in top form after a series of concerts. In autumn 2024 the band was support on parts of "Oslo Ess"'s Norway tour and has this summer played for thousands of people at festivals such as "ekstremsportveko" and "festidalen" before concluding the summer at a sold-out Sverresborg arena as support for "Kaizers Orchestra". This autumn they are working towards album no. 2 and new single releases.

    AMARO FREITAS TRIO

Like a kind of Brazilian blend of Thelonious Monk, Abdullah Ibrahim and Chick Corea, Amaro Freitas transforms the piano into a melodic percussion instrument – filled with the sound of Pernambuco, northeast Brazil, music born out of both slavery and carnival. The story of the prodigy who could not afford his own instrument, but had to practise on random pianos or on imaginary keys at home, spread quickly – soon he was among the most sought-after pianists in northern Brazil. After four records and tours in Europe and the USA, the compositions have become increasingly complex, but always with firm roots in the Brazilian tradition. Amaro Freitas delivered one of the best and most talked-about concerts at Nattjazz 2025, and it is a great pleasure to be able to present a new concert in Sardinen at USF Verftet with this fantastic piano trio. Less crying more making out. If Kaja Gunnufsen had a bigger mouth, Raga Rockers were a sweet girl with attention needs and Cezinando wasn't a rapper you get Synne Sørgjerd, who with radical openness and a great ass very much wants to tell you a story that is true. Do you like electric guitar? Bold lyrical twists? Then this is the artist for you. Themes such as the feeling of inadequacy and anxiety that things are not the way one thinks or wishes they were take centre stage, in the hope that the resolution will be that things work out in the end for good girls. Norway needs worse role models and Synne Sørgjerd is happy to assist. In Norwegian.

    Bergen
    25.11.2026 - 26.11.2026

    Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra: Händels Messias

Handel tended to work fast, but never quite as fast as in the summer of 1741, when he found himself in the grip of total inspiration while at work on his outstanding masterpiece, Messiah. What resulted was a work of incredible dramatic range, colossal imagination and huge variety – all underpinned by a sense of community and generosity. A hybrid of German, Italian and English musical styles, Messiah changed the landscape of choral music in Britain. It continues to transcend cultural, geographical or religious boundaries with its message of peace, goodwill, sacrifice and charity. Messiah’s rousing choruses and touching solos – its moments of deep reflection and uplifting celebration – are likely to sound particularly fresh under the musical leadership of Matthew Halls, who made his name with baroque music. Halls has first-rate solo and choral singers with him for this performance at the Grieg Hall which will anticipate the start of the festive season with brilliance.

Concert‑goers can expect a night full of sing‑along‑friendly songs, duelling guitars and choruses that hit straight to the chest – all delivered with the humour and intensity that have made Audrey Horne one of Norway’s most popular rock bands. For fans of classic hard rock Audrey Horne serve classic hard rock with roots firmly planted in the tradition of Thin Lizzy, Iron Maiden and Led Zeppelin, combined with the darker weight and melodic nerve reminiscent of Alice in Chains and Soundgarden. On stage, this becomes an explosive cocktail of first‑class riffing, powerful choruses and guitar harmonies that fill the room – topped with a party factor few other bands can match. In short: exactly the kind of performance Audrey Horne are known for when they take over a rock club near you.

Naboen Min welcomes young and old to a concert with a kick! Naboen Min is the band of children's book author and songwriter Vegard Markhus and producer/guitarist Bjørnar Sangolt. Many children have heard songs such as Male himlen blå, Gyli gyli gong gong and Rockesock. In autumn 2026 they are in the spotlight with a new record. For the record "Rockesock" the band received the Spellemannspris in the children's music category. Avoid Aas - Antiquarian

Unnveig Aas has sung her way into the hearts of many with her striking voice and distinctive musical expression in recent years. With almost four albums released, one of which (Young Heart, 2019) was nominated for Spellemann in the Country category, we can say that Unnveig is well established as a musician in this country! Her latest EP "Amused By A Muse" came out in the fall of 2025, and has received praise and a list spot on NRK P3 Musikk. More music is coming in 2026! Aas has played concerts all over Norway, as well as Germany, Sweden and Denmark. She is known for making the audience dance, cry and laugh. The music is full of contrasts. It is quiet and contained, but also at times catchy and danceable. With inspiration from country, pop, rock and folk, she experiments with open guitar tunings and synths and creates a sound that stands out in the Norwegian music scene. Aas is also an author and has published two poetry collections. Her lyrics are poetic and painful and are performed in a heartfelt way. Addison Johnson (US) North Carolina /Nashville-Tennessee Look forward to an evening of honest country. We've had Addison spin a few times now on the player, and the songs just get better and better. Check it out wherever you listen to music. The album "Dangerous Men" and the single from last year "Maybe I'm lonely too" are recommended. Born and raised in the home of the "Moonshiners" - the Blueridge Mountains in North Carolina - Addison's Songs bring an honest and society reflecting style of Country Music with it. Different than other musicians' careers, Addison was not born within a musicians' family. Already at a young age, he decided by himself to make a living out of Country Music – moved to Nashville alone with only a couple of bucks in his pocket. After a very rough start and an unmatched work-ethic, he managed to get touring the USA from east to west coast every year since. The hard life of a young touring artist formed not only his down to earth character, but also his view of real life in today's society. His outstanding talent of songwriting is nowadays well respected within the industry and so is not only his own music growing, but also his international fanbase! The concert is a mix of sitting and standing, if you want to sit you should get there early. No seat reservations!

But first, what is Metalbingo? Forget what you think you know about bingo. There will be no Olga 65 or Ivar 23 here. Here it will be Metallica, Celtic Frost, Dissection and Black Sabbath. We play a song, you recognize it and find it in an already given song list. There you will find a number that you will again find on your bingo block. Then there are one-rows, three-rows, three-rows and corners that apply. The songs are played in random order and if you don't recognize any songs, we will help you get the right number in place. In Metalbingo we help each other and we don't move on to the next song until we are sure that everyone has crossed off the correct number on their bingo block. We will inform you in more detail how this works before we start. The first to get a corner, singles, doubles and triples will walk away with the best prizes. Currently, the prize pool consists of LPs, gift cards, headsets, patches, candy, tickets to Legend Metalfest and much more. It costs 50 kroner to join Metalbingo and for that you will get two bingo games and the opportunity to win many prizes. 20 years of military service.

Did you know that this event is part of something bigger? In 2026, Dora 3 and Ladekaia will be 10 years old, and we will mark it with a whole anniversary week by the fjord. This is one of those evenings you don't want to miss. Bremer/McCoy In a noisy time, the Danish duo Bremer/McCoy have created their own quiet space. Bassist Jonathan Bremer and pianist Morten McCoy have played together since childhood, and share a musical language so intuitive that it hardly needs words. Their music is less about excelling individually, and more about listening together. Instead of improvising solos, they improvise entire compositions. The songs unfold there and then, in the moment, without a fixed plan. The result is concerts with a rare intimacy, where the music becomes a form of wordless communication between stage and audience. “We are very flow-oriented. Only when the ego disappears does there become space for what is going to happen,” says Jonathan Bremer. The duo formed in 2012 and debuted the following year with Enhed. Since then, they have built one of the most distinctive voices in modern Danish music, with albums such as the critically acclaimed Natten and the fresh Kosmos, their sixth. Jonathan Bremer has previously been named musician of the year at the Steppeulven award, and internationally, the duo is signed to the renowned record label Luaka Bop, founded by David Byrne. Now Bremer/McCoy is coming to Ladekaia. In the intimate surroundings, the music comes to its full potential: subdued, present and full of calm. This is an evening for those who want to lower their shoulders, listen carefully, and experience how much can be said without words. He has collaborated with musicians and artists from several countries and has contributed to building bridges between traditional and modern art practices. The Dreamteam artist scheme gives a selected musician the opportunity to put together their own dream ensemble and develop a unique concert project for the festival. For this concert, Mjelva has invited Alf Hulbækmo on organ, harmonica and several other instruments, Christian Winther on guitars and Sigurd Hole on double bass. Smokie – The Legacy Tour

🎫Tickets on sale from Friday, October 24th 10:00 Smokie – The Legacy Tour Smokie is now experiencing a new spring, playing in all the biggest and finest arenas, and has fantastic ticket sales. This is the eternally popular band that first broke through in Norway with "If you think you know how to love me" in 1975 and which the following year was on the charts for a full 33 weeks with the smash hit "Living next door to Alice". They continued to deliver big hits and bestsellers until well into the 90s, and they are the band that has been on the VG list the longest, with the Beatles as a good second. Since then, Smokie has almost become part of the Norwegian language. Whether you like them or not, everyone knows who they are and knows some of their songs. They have a large and very loyal audience in large parts of the world. Since recently, bassist Terry Uttley has unfortunately passed away. He has been replaced by Luke Bullard, son of keyboardist Martin Bullard. Luke has been a regular substitute for Terry for the past four years and is therefore already well known to many Smokie fans. Martin Bullard, along with drummer Steve Pinnell, has been in Smokie since 1988. Last year, Mike Craft chose to step down after being the vocalist for 26 years, and he has been replaced by a very good old friend of the band, Pete Lincoln. Pete has been the frontman of famous bands such as Sweet and Sailor, and worked with several big international stars such as Sir Cliff Richard, Tina Turner and Shakin Stevens. Mick McConnell plays guitar and mandolin, and has done so since 1996. This group played their first concerts in Helsingborg and Malmö in November 2021, to two full houses and an enthusiastic audience. Many believe that the band has never been better than it is now. Norway is still one of the countries that means the most to them, and that is why they continue to come back here to meet their enthusiastic audience, year after year. They have sold almost two million records in Norway alone and with them in their luggage they have all the good, old songs, as well as some newer material.

It is actually quite possible when you have a voice that resembles the original so much. In Three Generations, it is the grandson Martin Mihle who brilliantly interprets Fogerty's guitar playing to the fingertips. Three Generations promises an evening filled with good energy, sing-alongs and not least lots of joy playing. Performed with the greatest respect for this immortal music and in interpretations that do not shame the original.
