The Norwegian heavy metal band Triosphere was formed in 2004 in Trondheim, and over the years has established itself as a strong name in melodic and technical metal, known for songs that combine heaviness, melodic power and honest expression.
Triosphere's music moves at the intersection of hard rock, power metal, prog and thrash, and ranges from the aggressive and intricate to the atmospheric and melodic - always with strong hooks and distinctive guitar work at the center. The band has received wide international recognition for their album releases, which have received very good reviews worldwide.
As a live band, Triosphere has had the pleasure of touring with some of the truly big names in rock and metal. Their first tours in 2006 and 2007 were with WASP and Timo Kotipelto, and in the years that followed they have toured Europe with, among others, Arch Enemy, Jorn, Crimson Glory, Sirenia and twice with both Sonata Arctica and Kamelot.
They have opened for Dio and Nightwish, and played at festivals such as Wacken Open Air, ProgPower USA, 70,000 Tons of Metal, Tons of Rock and Metaldays, to name a few.
The band's solid quality both on record and on stage has earned them a loyal audience and dedicated listeners all over the world.
On August 28, 2026, their long-awaited fourth album, "Oceans Above, Stars Below", will finally be released on Frontiers Music Srl - an intense release that marks a new chapter in the band's history.
With such a title, it couldn't be more fitting that the release concert itself be held at Havet Arena on December 18, 2026!
