1. Museo SKREI
A giugno 2026 aprirà l’innovativo e spettacolare Museo Otolitten a Storvågan, Kabelvåg, nel cuore delle isole Lofoten.
Farà parte del centro SKREI, un luogo per la conoscenza e l’esperienza, che include anche il Museo delle Lofoten, la Galleria Espolin e l’Acquario delle Lofoten.
Otolitten racconta la storia della pesca delle Lofoten e mette in luce l’enorme importanza dello skrei, il merluzzo artico nordorientale, il pesce che ha costruito la Norvegia!
2. Ytri Island Retreat a Træna
È forse questo il nuovo hotel più originale e affascinante d’Europa?
L’esclusivo resort costiero, Ytri Island Retreat, situato sulla splendida costa dello Helgeland, offre 38 camere e suite, un bar, un ristorante di pesce, saune e un’area benessere all’aperto, il tutto su un remoto isolotto a Træna.
Ytri è diventato membro della prestigiosa associazione Relais & Châteaux nel 2025, uno dei soli 14 nuovi associati selezionati tra circa 600 candidati.
L’apertura del resort è prevista in aprile 2026.
3. Credo a Oslo
Il rinomato ristorante Credo della chef Heidi Bjerkan si è trasferito da Trondheim e ha aperto presso la Biblioteca Nazionale di Oslo.
Il nuovo ristorante propone una cucina norvegese eccezionale, che rende onore alle tradizioni culinarie del paese.
4. Kistefos, un nuovo centro visitatori
Lo spettacolare Museo Kistefos e centro d’arte, poco distante da Oslo, aprirà un nuovo centro visitatori a giugno 2026, progettato da Lund Hagem Arkitekter AS.
Il nuovo edificio avrà una stupenda vista sul fiume Randselva, e un’architettura che affonda le radici nel paesaggio e si ispira alla tradizione del trasporto fluviale del legname a Kistefos.
5. Emissioni zero sui fiordi UNESCO
Il Geirangerfjord dal 1 gennaio 2026 è entrato in una nuova era. Le piccole navi passeggeri sui fiordi patrimonio dell’UNESCO è necessario che adesso siano a emissioni zero.
Parti con una crociera elettrica sui fiordi, incredibilmente silenziosa, a bordo del nuovissimo catamarano ibrido Geirangerfjord 3 costruito in Norvegia, di Geiranger Fjordservice!
Opererà sulla linea Ålesund–Geiranger, offrirà crociere sul Geirangerfjord, e sarà anche disponibile per tour charter.
Dal 2032 la normativa delle emissioni zero sarà estesa a tutte le navi passeggeri.
E ci sono anche altre buone notizie per l’ambiente!
A novembre 2025 l’espresso costiero Havila ha dimostrato che è possibile viaggiare per l’intera rotta lungo la costa, tra Bergen e Kirkenes, ad emissioni ridotte.
Havila Polaris ha compiuto tutto il viaggio alimentata da biogas liquido. Calcoli preliminari indicano che le emissioni di CO2 possono essere tagliate di quasi il 92% utilizzando biogas e i sistemi di batterie della nave.
6. Passa una notte con le linci

7. Faro di Littleisland alle Vesterålen

Trysilgondolen, la nuovissima funivia della più grande località sciistica norvegese, Trysil nella Norvegia orientale, ha già aperto e può comodamente trasportare 3.000 ospiti all’ora risalendo la montagna per 2.417 metri. È uno dei maggiori investimenti singoli finora nel comprensorio.
La località sciistica Narvikfjellet, nella Norvegia settentrionale, si sta preparando aiCampionati Mondiali di sci alpino del 2029!
Prova la nuovissima seggiovia a 6 posti per Linken, il nuovo skilift, più elevato, e la nuova pista per famiglie che parte dalla stazione a monte della funivia.
10. Il Museo Kon-Tiki
Il Kon-Tiki è stato ristrutturato e la leggendaria zattera Kon-Tiki avrà una cornice spettacolare quando la nuova esposizione aprirà al pubblico in aprile.
Altre interessanti novità nel 2026:
- Dalen Hotel: lo storico hotel resterà ora aperto oltre alla stagione estiva e offrirà anche delle magiche avventure invernali.
- Thon Hotel Oslo Airport può adesso ospitare fino a 10.000 persone nel suo modernissimo hotel per eventi e conferenze, il più grande della Norvegia. L’enorme sala congressi di 5.000 m² propone soluzioni flessibili e si può adattare per ospitare anche piccoli eventi e gruppi.
- Un nuovo boutique hotel apre a Oslo il 1 luglio. Da Savoy 1918 avrai la perfetta unione di carattere storico ed eleganza contemporanea.
- A settembre anche Trondheim avrà un nuovo boutique hotel. Villa Nord è un hotel esclusivo realizzato in edifici storici che risalgono al 1837.

They broke through with a bang in 2025. With three singles and the subsequent debut album "Form is Temporary, Fuzz is Forever" they took the audience by storm! Experience concerts with Siv Aurlund in the Hall of Fame exhibition twice daily during the period June 29 - July 4 and get closer to one of the new voices in Norwegian popular music! Concert time: 11:30 13:30 Duration approximately 20 minutes. Siv Aurlund is a singer and songwriter from Lillehammer with a bachelor's degree in singing from the jazz department in Trondheim. Her music combines elements of jazz, R&B, gospel and folk, with intimate and honest lyrics about relationships, love and faith. She draws inspiration from various artists such as Esperanza Spalding, Joni Mitchell and Olivia Dean, and is currently working on her debut EP, which will be recorded in September. In addition to her solo project, Siv is also a vocalist in, among others, Tuva Olsson's Unmothered (since 2026), Inga-Mei Mjelstad band and Tide, the latter of which has releases on Dugnad Rec. She is also a conductor for several choirs in Trondheim, including the Gospel Choir PAX. The concert is included in the admission ticket to Rockheim. We will take advantage of this beautiful time of year to offer concerts on the Nidaros Cathedral's fantastic organs. This evening with Brita Sjöberg, cathedral cantor in Nidaros Cathedral. Brita Sjöberg comes from Dalarna in Sweden. In 2005 she received a master's degree in church music from the Piteå Academy of Music. This was followed by studies in the soloist class at the Royal Danish Academy of Music. From 2010 she has lived in Norway and has worked as a cathedral cantor in Nidaros Cathedral since 2022. Sjöberg has given concerts around Scandinavia and the rest of Europe, and has participated as an artist at several international music festivals. She has also played with the Malmö Symphony Orchestra, Trondheim Symphony Orchestra and the Norwegian Air Force Band. She is the artistic director for Trondheim in the network ECHO; European Cities of Historical Organs. Concert time: 11:30 13:30 Duration approximately 20 minutes. Alex Pavlovic is a 20-year-old Norwegian-Serbian artist, born and raised in Trondheim. She operates within the soul, rnb and jazz genres and writes her own songs at the piano. She is currently working on an EP, and will soon start his final year of his bachelor's degree in rhythmic performing music at the University of Agder. Alex describes herself as both “sassy” and sensitive, a contrast that permeates her music. That is precisely why music became a necessary space, a tool to let go of everything that cannot always be formulated. In a world where everything is expected to be put into words, she found a kind of freedom in the harmonica, which became a new way of understanding herself and her thoughts. She believes that emotions are what carries the music, hoping that the audience is left with some new feeling they may not have felt before. “Let’s feel the feelings we fear together.” The concert is included in the admission ticket to Rockheim. 🎵 We're kicking off this summer's Sunday concerts with a bang with pianist Christian Grøvlen! He is known for his excellent communication skills and expressive piano playing. Here he plays Agathe Backer Grøndahl's fairy tale-inspired suite I Blaafjellet, Grieg's dramatic Ballade, his own composition Pan and Rachmaninov's virtuoso Piano Sonata No. 2. In addition to being a pianist and composer, he is the director of the music and composer homes in Kode in Bergen, and finally he plays at Ringve! 🌿 The Sunday concerts at Ringve are a firm tradition during the summer. In common with all the great English cathedrals, Ely Cathedral cherishes a rich and distinctive tradition of church music. For more than a thousand years, music has stood at the heart of the Cathedral's life and worship, shaping its daily rhythm and lending beauty and splendour to its liturgy. Today, four choirs continue this living tradition, sustaining a musical heritage of remarkable depth and vitality. At its centre is the much-loved Choral Evensong, sung each evening during term time by the Cathedral Choir, while Sunday worship is likewise enriched by the choir's music. The Cathedral Choir today is made up of six Lay Clerks — its professional adult singers — together with a Boys' Choir (aged 7–13) and a Girls' Choir (aged 7–16). Each of the choirs sings four services a week and performs a wide-ranging repertoire embracing everything from Gregorian chant to contemporary composition. The choir is also widely admired beyond the Cathedral, appearing regularly in concerts, recordings, and broadcast performances for radio and television. All of the young choristers are pupils at King's Ely, one of the oldest schools in Great Britain. This performance in Bergen marks the final concert of the choir's six-day tour of Western Norway. For this concluding programme, the audience will hear the six Lay Clerks and the Boys' Choir, bringing the tour to close the distinctive sound, discipline, and expressive warmth of Ely's choral tradition.
