Tons of Rock has become a primary gathering for rock- and heavy metal fans of Norway. Originally taking place at Fredriksten Fortress in Halden, the festival moved to Ekebergsletta in Oslo for its 2019 edition in order to have more space, and it turned out to be a big success.

Some of the big artists that have performed at the already legendary festival are Ozzy Osbourne, Alice in Chains, Slayer, Black Sabbath, Kiss, Def Leppard and many, many more.
