Senti le forze della natura mentre percorri la famosa e iconica Strada Atlantica, una delle 18 Strade turistiche nazionali della Norvegia.
I panorami suggestivi incontrano l’ingegneria moderna creando un itinerario degno di una straordinaria esperienza al volante.
La strada, lunga 36 chilometri, conduce da Kårvåg, vicino a Kristiansund, fino al villaggio di pescatori di Bud, attraverso sette incredibili ponti sull’Oceano Atlantico.
Road trip sulla Strada Atlantica
La Strada turistica nazionale Atlanterhavsvegen è lunga in tutto 36 chilometri. Il tratto più famoso della Strada Atlantica collega Averøy con la terraferma tramite sette ponti che uniscono piccole isole e scogli.
Questa strada è comparsa in diversi film, pubblicità e produzioni TV, tra cui il film di James Bond No Time to Die e la nota serie HBO Succession.
Si trova a 8 ore di distanza in auto da Oslo, 9 ore da Bergen, 3 ore e 40 minuti da Trondheim, e a 2 ore e 40 minuti di strada panoramica da Ålesund. Oppure puoi arrivare in aereo a Kristiansund o a Molde, noleggiare un’auto e partire da lì.
È possibile percorrere la Strada Atlantica anche in bici, ma bisogna tenere presente che potrebbe esserci molto traffico.

Questo è anche il punto di partenza ufficiale della Strada turistica nazionale.
Sono tante le soste consigliate. Già alla prima, a Geitøya, c’è la possibilità di fare una gita in barca fino al particolare e storico hotel Håholmen Havstuer, su un’isola a soli cinque minuti dalla Strada.
Concediti lì un pranzo o un pernottamento indimenticabile!
Durante l’estate c’è un collegamento regolare in barca a una tariffa minima, o gratuito per gli ospiti dell’hotel.
L’isoletta è un vero gioiello, dove si respira storia, amore e spirito di avventura.
Un luogo dove staccare la spina, dimenticarsi del resto del mondo e rilassarsi.
Prosegui verso la prossima attrazione, forse la più nota: il ponte Storseisund!
Fermati solo nelle piazzole appositamente dedicate alla sosta lungo la strada e ricorda che non vi è consentito pernottare. Ci sono a disposizione tanti bei campeggi nella zona!
Vale la pena fare una passeggiata fino al punto panoramico sul sentiero sopraelevato che gira intorno all’isola di Eldhusøya, accessibile a tutti.
E, se vuoi, porta la canna da pesca!
Lungo la strada ci sono diversi posti per pescare, come ad esempio a Geitøya e dal ponte Myrbærholm.

Lungo il percorso dai un’occhiata alla scultura in marmo Columna Transatlantica a Hågå, per poi scendere su strade strette verso la bella spiaggia di Farstadsanden!
Una camminata di due chilometri e mezzo ti conduce fino al faro di Nordneset.
La strada continua lungo la baia di Hustadvika, nota per la potenza delle forze della natura!
Prova il comfort di una notte all’accogliente Hustadvika Havhotell, che ha una piccola spa e una sauna, oltre agli ottimi piatti del Ristorante Flo.
Ancora 20 minuti di guida verso ovest e arriverai al bel villaggio di pescatori di Bud, che un tempo, nel XVI secolo, era uno dei maggiori centri commerciali fra Bergen e Trondheim.
Oggi è un tranquillo e sonnolento villaggio dove gustare del buon pesce al ristorante Bryggjen i Bud, esplorare i resti delle fortificazioni tedesche della seconda guerra mondiale del forte di Ergan e visitare il piccolo Museo della costa.

Ti consigliamo di continuare per altri 40 chilometri di strada panoramica fino a Molde, la ‘città delle rose’.
Passeggia sul grazioso lungomare, prova le saune galleggianti e goditi la vista sulle montagne dal punto panoramico Varden!
Ma l’attrazione principale qui è il RomsdalMuseum, uno dei musei folcloristici all’aria aperta più grandi della Norvegia. Il moderno centro visitatori Krona ospita mostre, un caffè e un negozio di bunad (costumi tradizionali norvegesi).
