Eirik Kvindesland holds a PhD in History from the University of Oxford, with a thesis on Zionism and Jewish history in the Persian Gulf. In 2025, Kvindesland made his literary debut with the book Iran and Israel: Old Friends, New Enemies.



The book received positive reviews in, among others, Aftenbladet, Dag og Tid and Forskerforum.



Kvindesland has previously been editor-in-chief of Oxford Middle East Review and has published numerous academic articles.
