Nordsjørittet from Egersund to Sandnes

Nordsjørittet is a cycling event through the varied landscapes of Jæren, with routes for experienced cyclists, recreational riders and families. The main 87-kilometre route runs from Egersund to Sandnes. Along the way, cyclists pass through woodland, farmland and open coastal landscapes, following sections of the North Sea Route, Den Vestlandske Hovedveg and the historic Kongevegen.

A shorter 40-kilometre route from Nærbø to Sandnes is also available. Families and anyone looking for a shorter ride can take part in the approximately 13-kilometre Family Ride from Stavanger to Sandnes along the dedicated cycle route.

Nordsjørittet welcomes cyclists with different levels of experience and ambition. You set your own pace, whether you are aiming for a fast time, a personal challenge or simply an enjoyable day on two wheels.

Nordsjørittet takes place on 12 June 2027. Practical information and start times will be announced by the organisers.
