SOLO SUNNY - 6/10 KL. 20:00

In East Berlin, in the late 1970s, Sunny dreams of becoming a star with her music and performing on the big stages. To pursue this, she quits her job as a factory worker and tours through the East German provinces with her band. Despite numerous professional and personal setbacks, nothing can stop Sunny from following her dreams.

Solo Sunny is based on the life story of singer Sanije Torka. The film was awarded the Silver Bear and the FIPRESCI Prize at the Berlinale in 1980.

Solo Sunny will be screened in a newly restored 4K version, which premiered at last year's Berlinale. This is a rare opportunity to see this cinematic gem on the big screen in Norway.
