Musical book bath with Liv Glaser

The piano legend has been a concert pianist on the big, international stages - now we meet her in a warm and intimate book bath - naturally with live piano playing!

Author and musicologist Marion Hestholm has written the book “Liv Glaser – Tones in Light and Darkness”. Liv Glaser has greatly influenced Norwegian classical music. In the 1960s she became a name on the national as well as the international scene, and in recent times she has become known for her recordings on historical instruments. She has been with the Norwegian Academy of Music since its inception in 1973 and is professor emerita.

This Sunday is dedicated to Liv Glaser and Marion Hestholm's intimate and moving biography, and of course with playing by the legendary pianist! The book is available for purchase in the museum shop.
