Tett på! is a popular chamber music series where musicians explore space and repertoire and where the audience gets to get up close to the musicians.
On Thursday, October 1, the woodwinds of the Air Force Band will play the Klughardt Wind Quintet and Tchaikovsky's String Serenade, arranged for wind instruments, in the Bingo Hall at KUK.
Klughart's wind quintet is a romantic work, a melodious and elegant piece that is not without reason played by many ensembles.
About the String Serenade, Tchaikovsky wrote that he had a strong desire for people to experience the work; "I just really love this serenade." The work is a delight for the ear and you just have to enjoy the warm atmosphere that the music creates in the Bingo Hall's art exhibition.
Are Øvergård Grindal has arranged the serenade for twelve woodwinds.
The concert will be played in the exhibition "Fantasma" by Kjell Erik Killi-Olsen
