Are you dreaming of sleeping under the open sky, experiencing the wilderness, fishing trout? Oppdal is surrounded by mountains with plenty of lakes and waters with a good stocks of fish. Trout is the most common species, but the char is also found in several of the lakes. If you are interested in fly fishing or traditional otter fishing, you are welcome here, all techniques are used. Fish density varies from lake to lake. If you are a family with children who wants to participate, we head off to a close by lake with high fish density to make it fun for kids. If you are a fishing enthusiast and would like to make an attempt for the big trout deep in the mountains, we can arrange that also.
