Venabu Fjellhotell is well known for its warm welcome, delicious food and attentive hospitality. Owned and run by the Tvete family, Venabu sits on the Venabygdsfjellet mountain plateau on the southern edge of the Rondane National Park.
Open year round, Venabu Fjellhotell has 56 ensuite rooms, a dining room with panoramic mountain views, a comfortable lounge bar and many guest facilties. Summer or winter, the hotel makes an excellent base for active holidays including cross country skiing and walking holidays. Our expert guiding team offer a variety of hiking holidays and cross country skiing holidays and courses each season. Throughout the winter you can snowshoe with us, go dogsledding have cross country ski lessons and rent skis from us.
Our stables offer horseriding tours and holidays. For a more relaxing time, join us for a restorative yoga break or Tai Chi weekend.
We have many special events and seasonal celebrations throughout the year.
Venabu has eight traditional and high quality log cabins to rent. These are situated close to the hotel offering guests the best of both: a self catering holiday with your own space, plus all the amenities and support of the hotel nearby.
Venabu also caters for family parties, weddings and celebrations for upto 120 guests. We have facilities for smaller conferences (upto 50 particpants) and work meetings.
