Troll hunting by Snowmobile

Overview

This trip takes about seven hours. You will be collected from Scandic Ishavshotel in Tromsø at 8.30 a.m or 13.30., and the safari begins at Camp Troll at 10.30 a.m. or 15.00.

We start the safari on easy terrain and follow officially approved trail, so that you can learn to handle your snowmobile with ease.
We then continue towards the Lyngen Alps, a mountain range with peaks reaching 1,500 m or more. There will be plenty of opportunities to take photos and enjoy the scenery.
Hot drinks will be served and a meal with local produce.

- Start from Camp Troll
- Two people will ride each snowmobile, taking turns driving
- Basic training will be provided by our guide
- You will be provided with necessary equipment (helmet, warm clothing and shoes) by Svensby Tursenter
- A valid driving licence is required

Included:
Transportation by bus/minibus
A hot meal; vegetarian food will be provided if advance notice is given.
Insulated body suit, boots, gloves, headwear, and helmet
English-speaking guide
Evening trips will give you a chance to see the Northern Lights.

Recommandations:
Warm undergarments (wool or fleece is recommended)

Capacity:
4–20 people.

The snowmobile safari is available from November to March, depending on snow conditions
