Among 170 hectares of untouched land with an unspoiled view – The Bolder Lodges hovers high above the Lysefjord, one of Norway's most spectacular fjords. A place where people from all over the world want to experience and engage in its picturesque beauty.
These mountains are filled with magical pine trees and boulders placed by the glacier when the ice age came to an end. The spectacular view is the main attraction at The Bolder Lodges, but the Lysefjord is full of experiences. Here you will find Kjerag, Fantahola, Flørli, Lysebotn and the jewel in the crown - Preikestolen (the Pulpit Rock) - towering 604 meters above the fjord. You can also enjoy the picturesque surroundings on one of many waymarked walking trails directly from the doorstep.
The Bolder has developed the "slow travel" concept together with skilled architects, designers, photographers and artists. They collaborate with high end brands to give you the best possible stay and experience. The goal is to create a unique experience that will amaze you!

StarLodge
The three 35m2 StarLodges feature tall ceilings and large panoramic windows for the perfect vantage point. Enjoy curated brands and quality materials such as Vipp and Eikund. They are carefully placed in the landscape, built to minimize the impact on nature. The lodges are all facing the majestic fjord and mountains – giving you a front row seat to the raw nature and tranquility.

SkyLodge
The two SkyLodges are 22 square meters and include two double bedrooms, designer kitchen from Vipp, fully equipped bathroom and a dining room with a view to die for. The two-floor cubes are wrapped in Canadian cedar wood. They are built on a single column to minimize the footprint in the landscape. Due to its unique design it will gently sway on windy days. With fully adjustable beds you are as close to sleeping in the clouds as you will ever get. SkyLodge also won an award for “best cabin project of the year 2020”.
