Take the gondola at Stranda

The gondola is a popular summer attraction with a spectacular view of the region of Sunnmøre. From top of the mountain you can enjoy the panoramic view over the fjord village Stranda, the Storfjord, the Sunnmøre Alps and the UNESCO World Heritage site Geirangerfjord.

Hiking enthusiasts of all ages will find a great variety of routes in the area by the gondola at Stranda and mount Roaldshorn as a starting- or end point. You can choose from several different hikes, or just sit down and enjoy the view from the top.
