Dovrefjell and SunndalsfjellNational Park - Norway's largest conservation area. Exceptional, rich fauna and an intact eco-system with wild reindeer, wolverine, lynx, raven, artic fox, musk ox and golden eagle. In the wild, steep mountains of Sunndal, the wild reindeers are grazing during summer. The region offers excellent opportunities for outdoor recreation.
In the centre: Exhibition with animals and birds. Information and maps, as well as coffee, waffles, soft drink and souvenirs are available. Cafeteria (Gjøra Kro og Camping) situated close by. Guides may be booked.
Open weekdays the whole year. From middle of June till middle of August staff is available and centre open seven days a week.
