Sørlandets matfestival 2022 - Food festival in Kristiansand

Sørlandets Food Festival is held annually in Kristiansand, traditionally during the second weekend of July.

The festival was first organized in 2019 and attracted over 17,000 visitors. By 2024, the number of attendees had grown to over 33,000.

During the festival, visitors can explore a wide range of exhibitors offering everything from seafood, cured meats, award-winning cheeses, baked goods, homemade chocolate, to gelato ice cream. Additionally, there is a dedicated area for local breweries and distilleries, where guests can taste locally produced beer and gin. The festival also features street food, chili competitions, children's activities, and evening concerts under the "Torvfest" event.

This year's Sørlandets Food Festival will take place from July 10 to July 12, 2025, at Øvre Torv in Kristiansand.
