Ski and Sail

Bergbjørn fjellservice one-week tours where we will live and move on board the beautiful sailing ship Stella Oceana and go on great ski tours on various destinations.

The trip will start and end in Evenes and we will sail to new areas every day. On one of the days, it will be possible to replace the skis with dog sleds if desired.
Evenes is a strategic starting point, where we will be able to move in all directions, depending on weather and conditions. From Evenes it is a short distance to Narvik, Skjomen, Efjord, Senja and Lofoten to name a few of the most famous nearby areas.
We will take weather and wind into consideration and do tours to locations where the weather and snow conditions are best for skiing.

We have a good dinghy with an engine on board, which makes landing possible almost anywhere. The chance of going on adventures where there are no other people or ski tracks to follow are great.
We will seek out terrain that provides great and safe skiing in the best snow conditions. In the evening we will serve a better dinner and relax with something good in our glasses in while we set sail for the next destination.
There is also a hot tub on board, which helps well with recovery until the next day.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival, accommodation on the boat, safety briefing and planning the sailing route with the group. Then we set sail towards the first destination.

Day 2-5: Breakfast, landing with light boat, summit trip, pickup with light boat, dinner, relaxation, planning of the next day's trip.

Day 6: Short trip, sailing back to pier in Evenes, taxi to airport.

Participants: Up to 6 people

Price: From 36 667NOK pr. person

Duration: 6 days (5 days guiding) in the period week 15 to 18.

Arrival: Fly to Evenes, and taxi down to the pier where the boat is located. Taxi back to airport. (Taxi must be covered yourself)

Food: All meals are included. Alcohol or other beverages must be purchased on board.

Equipment: You must have your own ski / snowboard equipment, which is suitable for ski touring. Avalanche equipment can be rented if needed.

Difficulty: The tours are tailored to the group and is suitable for anyone who has gone on ski tours before. It is recommended that everyone in the group wants a tour of the same difficulty.
