Senja Husky Adventure

Senja Husky Adventure is a family run dog sled kennel located on Norway’s second largest island, above the arctic circle. From our camp we offer exciting activities with our friendly Siberian Huskies all year round.

Senja Husky Adventure is a newly established, family run dog sled kennel located at Ottemoen/Vesterfjell on the amazing adventure island of Senja, above the arctic circle on Norway’s second largest island, in Northern Norway.
From our camp, we offer exciting activities with our friendly siberian huskies in the wilderness all year round.

Our activities includes among others dogsledding in the arctic landscape of Senja, dogsledding under the dancing northern lights, hiking trips in the beautiful midnight sun, kennel visits and puppy visits.
With us you will get a personal and exclusive experience like no other.

Our customers includes individual hikers, families, couples, businesses and schools among others.

Our dog kennel includes over 30 of our furry friends. Most of our dogs are pure bred siberian huskies, but from time to time we also have some alaskan huskies. We breed our own team members, so we sometimes have adorable puppies at the kennel. Our dogs are an important part of our family, they are our passion and lifestyle. The dogs get special care and we participate with the dogs in some long- and middle distance races, and sometimes also participate on dog shows.

Two guests share one sled. You don't need any previous experience, though we do recommend participants to possess an average level of fitness.

We have wintersuits, mittens and winter shoes, you have to bring a long sleeved base layer, preferably wool, warm socks, winterhat and a camera.
