Lysebotn
The activity center SBK BASE is located in Lysebotn, at the very head of the Lysefjord and close to Kjerag in Ryfylke. The village is perfect if you want an active vacation.
Kjerag is one of the most beautiful and exciting places in the world for base jumping. Thanks to the efforts of SBK BASE, jumping has become safer, and Kjerag is now one of the world’s leading base jumping sites.
SBK BASE has taken over several of the facilities in Lysebotn, which has made the campsite even better suited for base jumpers.
Lysebotn is the perfect place whether you want to relax by the fjord, go on a challenging mountain hike or do something even more extreme, such as base jumping. In addition to base jumping, SBK Base offers equipment hire for cycling, water sports, kayaking and fishing, amongst other activities.
They operate the shuttle bus between Lysebotn and the Kjerag car park, and provide transport both on land and on the fjord.
