Do you want to learn about randonnee tours and what you have to keep in mind? Then this is the event for you! During three days in mountain in Hemsedal we will focus on good learning and good experiences. We hold the group size down so the guide can have close follow up with each individual. 

Route choices, trip planning, traffic pattern up and down, avalanche theory and proper use of ski and avalanche equipment are central themes. As a student on Randonnee Academy you can get answers to your questions and join the safe trips with the mountain professionals.

The events is over three days where you are with the whole process; from planning the trip with the various reviews of the Randonnee tour. 

* Mountaineering equipment for summit tours. 
* Avalanche Equipment (can hire for NOK 350 for the weekend)
* Map (can be bought at Hemsedal Tourist Office or online here>)
* Transportation (the group decides who drive when and where)

Accomodation and food is not included. We will organize a common dinner on Saturday night. If you need help to book accomodation, contact us at info@hemsedalaktiv.no.

19:00: Welcome an introduction to Randonnee Course. All the participants will meet their guide and start planning the next day’s randonnee tour. 

FRIDAY: 
09:00. Todays randonnee tour. 
18:00: Avalanche course 
Planning for the next day’s randonnee tour 

SATURDAY: 
09:00. Todays randonnee tour. 
Planning the next day’s randonnee tour. 
20:00: Common dinner (not included in the price) 
Theoretical instructions after dinner. 

SUNDAY: 
10.00: Todays randonnee tour. 
Leave on the afternoon after the randonnee tour.
