The hotel is situated 60 kilometers westbound from Bergen. Right by the edge of the ocean with a wide range of activities, local cuisine, modern facilities and top service! Getting there from Bergen city center takes about 40 minutes by car. The dramatic nature and the ever-changing elements can be enjoyed in most of the hotel rooms. The hotel is perfectly suited for both leisure and business guests.
Rooms and suites at the hotel (for groups only)
The hotel has 57 double rooms and 8 fjord suites. A standard room is 18 m2 and includes a double bed that can be separated, bathroom with a shower, a 42” TV and free Wi-Fi. If you look for an extraordinary hotel experience, you can book our superior rooms. 8 fjord suites are awaiting you, situated right next to the sea. The suites provide sun from early morning through to the evening. There is also a guest marina. The suites are located on two levels, each one having a terrace facing the sea.
Cabins (rorbu) and suites
The hotel has 16 junior suites and 6 cabins (rorbu suites). The junior suites are 32 m2 with a double bed that can be shared, two extra beds, bathroom with shower, TV, free wifi, a lovely balcony with outdoor furniture and not least fantastic sea views! The little extra you get with accommodation in the rorbus suites in a fantastic location right by the sea. Here you get sun from morning to evening and guest harbor for the boat. The fisherman's cabins are divided over two levels, each with its own terrace facing the sea.
Wellness center
Enjoy the warm sun in our indoor sunroom, work out whilst watching the beautiful fjord landscape right outside the window, or simply have a well-deserved glass whilst relaxing. The hotel guests have free access to the wellness center, but it is also possible to visit us simply to make use of the wellness center.
Banquet rooms with ocean view
We have flexible banquet rooms that vary in size. Our most popular hall is the Stormsalen, with a stage and grand windows. Fjordblikk provides you the best ocean view, and is perfect as a wedding venue. For larger conventions and banquets, Panoramasalen can house around 650 guests. For a very special occasion, you can bring your company to Marstein lighthouse, a unique venue in the middle of the ocean.

We can offer rental of fishing gear, kayaks and SUP-boards. Maybe you would like to challenge yourself and your friends by coasteering? Marstein Lighthouse
The accommodation and meeting facilities of Marstein Lighthouse is run by the hotel. The lighthouse is situated in the open ocean a few kilometers from the hotel. This well-known landmark in the west is the first thing that greets sea bound travelers from Europe to Bergen, and it has a unique and spectacular location.
