Follow road E16 North from Fagernes. If you are arriving from Bergen/Tyinkrysset, take the E16 South towards Fagernes. Exit when you see the sign to “Riste bro” (Riste Bridge). Keep to the right after the bridge and follow the signs towards M. Syndin (toll road). Drive past Syndinstogo (tourist cabin), over the bridge by Pyttingen and continue all the way to Strø. Marked parking area and picnic tables where the road ends.
Follow the road a few hundred meters on foot, past the summer farm cabins, until you find the trail. Continue until the marked trail turns right towards Nøsakampen. Swimming possibilities in Skardstjernet. Follow the cairns to the summit and enjoy a magnificent view.
