Kvam Motell & Camping

All year camping place, motel and tree top cabin located in idyllic surroundings right on the edge of LakeSnåsavatnet and just off the E6.

There are tent sites, sites for motorhomes and caravans, cabins in different price ranges and rooms in the motel building. Internet access available. We have  a nice and child friendly beach. Ideal for canoe and kayak excursion, island hopping, with many nice islands to go ashore. There are sports facilities close by and marked trails for excercise enthusiast and hikers. Short walk to nearby grocery store.

The tree top cabin Almatoppen  - new in May 2020
The cabin, which accommodates 2 people, has a double bed, kitchen and seating area. There is a terrace where you can enjoy your food and drinks to beautiful views of the Lake Snåsavatnet . The cabin has electricity but no water. Duvets are available in the cabin. Bed linen and sheets can be rented / bought at reception.

Dining
We offer basic cuisine, coffee, waffles, soda and ice cream. We have a fully licensed pub on the premises.

There are banquet facilities, a bar, a fireplace lounge, a TV lounge, a tourist kitchen and toilet facilities in the motel.

BBQ and picnic area
This area is located right by the lake and is free for you to use.

Boat rental
We have2 rowing boats and an aluminum boat with 6hp motor are available to rent. You can buy a fishing licenses for Lake Snåsavatnet in the reception -  there is excellent trout fishing in Snåsavatnet. A fishing guide is available if required. 

Almatoppen tretopphytte - ny i mai 2020
Fra Almatoppen kan du nyte utsikten over Snåsavatnet. Hytta, som er for 2 personer, har dobbeltseng, kjøkken og sittegruppe. Terrasse hvor du kan nyte mat og drikke til en fantastisk utsikt. Den har innlagt strøm, men ikke vann. Sengetøy finnes i hytta.Trekk og laken kan leies/kjøpes i resepsjonen.
