The treetop cabin near Nodeland, just outside Kristiansand, is fittingly named "Kvisten" and is built on nature's terms. At the same time, it offers modern comforts including electricity, running water, and a fully equipped kitchenette.
Imagine a tough outdoor adventure with sore feet, limited food, and hours of marching. Tempting?
Now imagine the opposite. You paddle a canoe across the calm waters of Lake Trobbevann, just a short distance from Kristiansand, heading toward Den lille villmarkscampen and the Kristiansand Treetop Cabins.
Kristiansand Treetop Cabins are pleased to offer you and your companions an authentic treetop stay.
The cabin features an open plan kitchen and living area with a wood burning stove, a bedroom with a double bed, and a loft with two separate rooms, each with two beds. Skylights in the loft allow you to lie back and count the stars before falling asleep. Bed linen as well as large and small towels are included. The cabin also has a bathroom with shower and toilet. It accommodates up to six guests and includes a spacious terrace.
Designed and developed by the renowned architects at Arkicon, the cabin floor begins six meters above the ground. The terrace is furnished with comfortable outdoor seating and a fire pit and almost hangs over a rocky slope, making the experience even more spectacular.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooktop, electric oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, pots, frying pan, kettle, and a French press.
Two canoes and six life vests are included with the cabin. Fishing opportunities are excellent, please bring your own fishing rod.
Fire pits are available both on the cabin terrace and down by the canoe dock.
A sauna with space for up to six people is available at an additional cost.
Activities and relaxation at Den lille villmarkscampen
Den lille villmarkscampen is perfect for those who enjoy outdoor life at a relaxed pace. At the same time, it is easy to switch from quiet moments in the shelter to playful activity whenever you feel the need.
From the zipline, it is only a short walk to a refreshing swim in the freshwater lake Trobbevann, which is also rich in fish.
Everything tastes better outdoors. That is why a fire pit with kettle, grill grate, and frying pan is ready for preparing simple but flavorful meals.
As evening falls, the bed is already prepared. High quality hammocks from Hennessy Hammock, complete with mosquito net and rain tarp, ensure a comfortable night’s sleep. The hammocks are easy to attach to pre installed straps. All you need to bring is your own sleeping bag.
