There are many great possibilities for short and longer hiking trips in Våler. The trails presented on this site have been prepared by volunteers. The maps are old orientation maps, as well as copies of the Våler map and from the data base for Hiking Maps Østfold.

You can download all the hiking maps from this site, but do remember that the scale will be uncorrect when you print out the maps. If you wish to obtain the maps with the correct scale, you can contact Terje Lauritzen at telephone 69 28 73 44, cell phone 917 39 885, and he will be able to get you the maps. However, for location and direction guiding, the maps from this site will be sufficient. Many of the trails on the maps are also marked, so it should be easy to find your way. If you in addition print out the description of the trails, you will be properly prepared for a good hike in the norwegian nature, even when you're unfamiliar with the area.
