***HUSFJELLET***
The Husfjellet mountain (635 moh) and bonus with the barbeque hut and Sommardalen (327moh) along the way.

The hike starts next to the hotel and a green sign shows you where the starting point is. A marked trail leads you on this spectacular top end great views on a familyfriendly hike. However, dress up and be prepared for a mountain hike.

Along the way you will pass a public hut and the first hilltop named Sommardalen. Both are nice hikes if you want a shorter hike or are walking with small children.

***KNUTEN***
The Knuten hike in Mefjordvær
This super family friendly, short hike lets you wander in a well-developed net of trails, with interesting history and one of the best spots for midnight sun or sunsets.
Even though the main hike to Knuten is short, it is well worth it and if you choose to add up the other hikes in the same area, you can easily spend hours in this beautiful landscape. A public hut is available.

If you are a real sportshead, you rent one of our bicycles and combine the bike and hike. Stop for refreshments in Mefjord Brygge before you go back.

We recommend a evening hike to Knuten!

***FLOBJØRN***
The Flobjørn hike (611 moh) with views over Bergsfjord
“Value for money” on this magnificent hike to Flobjørn, one of the mountains easy to hike, but not so famous as Husfjellet, Segla and others. The trail starts in the valley Krokelvdalen (pass the Skaland tunnel) but starting point is maybe not so easy to find unless you let us give you good guidance.

A guided tours is available on request, also as winter-hike with snowshoes.

***BIKING***
Go bicycling to Bøvær beach - and combine it with a hike to Strandbyskaret
Rent bikes and equipment at Skagi, buy a take-away lunch (or if you are a breakfast guest, ask to make your own lunch form breakfast for a small fee). Only 4 kilometers away lies Bøvær, a small community with a nice beach. The famous Kråkeslottet (The crow castle) is also situated here and they are normally offering cultural end musical events.

Please note that the areas on the way to Bøvær and also in the village, are private properties and free-camping is not allowed. Respect the locals.

This biking tour can also be combined with a hike to Strandbyskaret 280 moh, a 1-2 hour hike starting close to Bøvær.

A private pick-up by our small charter-boat can also be arranged on request. Then you can enjoy a sightseeing tour in beautiful Bergsfjord before you go on shore in Skaland Marina.

***FISHING***
Private fishing-trip with small charter-boat and local skipper
The fishing conditions outside Senja are rich and well-known. Most of the economy of Senja is built on fishing and todays seafood industry is very important for the region.

Onboard our small charter-boat, the local skipper takes you out for a n adventure. Arctic cod (skrei), halibut, saithe, redfish, flounder, mackerel – the sea is full of species that all have their special season.

Whether you are a pro deep sea fisher or just wants to try out your fishing luck with family or friends, we have the packages for you.
