From Rygge Airport to Moss

The trail starts at Moss Airport Rygge and follows "Terminalveien". When you reach the roundabout, head straight ahead and into the gravel road marked as a trail path (flower icon on the sign). From here you follow the gravel road further inwards along the fields.

You will walk through some farms along the gravel road. Here there are fields and forests as long as the eyes can see, fresh air and beautiful surroundings. Follow the road inwards, and take to the left by the sharp turn by the farm barn. Continue following the gravel road until you reach an intersection, where you will turn to your right on the asfalt covered road. Continue onwards about 300m. On the hilltop take to the left where the sign will guide you to "Vaskeberget".

Vaskeberget is an idyllic bathing spot in the midst of scenic surroundings, which consists of small rocks, some sand, scattered trees and a grassy surface. You have a terrific view of Vansjø also, and a dedicated ramp into the water for wheelchair users, small parking spot, floating pier and toilet facilities. In the summer you can also rent a canoe.

From Vaskeberget you can follow the main road straight ahead. You need to pass E6 over a bridge and follow the Bjerke alley downwards. In the intersection, take to the right and follow the walking/bicycle path onwards. From here you will view forests, fields and scattered urban areas.

After the roundabout, follow the walking/bicycle path some houndred meters and take to the left, where Hadeland and Ekholt are signposted. A little further onwards you will see Ekholt church and Hadeland cultural centre on your right. Hadeland culture centre consists of several older buildings built around an idyllic field.

Further on the trip will continue on solid asfalt, before again entering gravel covered road. Follow the gravel road a small way until the road turns a little to the right, here you will take into a path that heads into a small grove. You will end up at "Utsikten" where you can enjoy the view, before the trip continues onward to Ekholt golf park. This is a 6 hole court in natural surroundings along corn fields. You will continue past a red barn, and follow the road over a field. in the intersection, take to the right upwards a gravel path until you will pass Ekholt astroturf and Ekholt primary school. The trip continues further along Carlberg road where you will after a while pass Rygge shopping mall to the right. Turn right by the roundabout along "Varnaveien".

Your trip will follow the walking trail towards Moss along Ryggeveien, further into Øreveien and continues down Abelsgate. Here you will pass many old buildings. You will shortly arrive at Nesparken and Vansjø lake. This is a popular park used around the year, where you can take a swin in the summer or go skiing in the winter.

In the roundabout, where you will see a gas station on your right, follow downwards Vogts street (Vogtsgate). Take a right turn in the next roundabout on to Kirkegata.
