The best farm shop in the country is located in Stange Vestbygd
Fredheim gårdsutsalg forms part of Fredheim Gård – a farm in beautiful Stange Vestbygd, also known as Tuscany of the North. Spectacular views and amazing hosts make the visit an experience in itself, and many of its customers come from afar. The farm has been in the same family since 1939, and is today run by Louise Gjør. It has 7500 laying hens, and produces a variety of vegetables.
In 2021, the farm shop was voted Norway’s best by HANEN. Among the aspects that impressed the jury were Louise Gjør’s business acumen, her wide variety of own produced products, and her ability to develop her own brands. Her product range is comprehensive and inviting.
The popular shop sells eggs, juices, jelly, chocolate, biscuits, cheese, vegetables, and lots of other exciting foods. During the season, there are as many as 35 different vegetables to choose from. Mugs, water bottles, and textiles are also available.
Enjoy a coffee on the patio as you take in the stunning views of Mjøsa and the lush green fields.
The farm shop is open Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays all year round.
