Fjord kayak Geiranger

Join Fjord Nature on a guided kayak tour in Geirangerfjorden. The trip starts by basecamp Geiranger and from here your local guide will take you on a 3 hour long tour alongside the mountains and rivers of Geiranger. This is a trip everybody. Both for the experienced kayaker who seeks a shorter trip and for the ones who never even been in a kayak.

The Geiranger fjord is on UNESCO's world heritage list and with reason. The fjord was created during the last ice age. The old ice glaciers left us the unique views of these deep fjords and majestic mountains. On this kayak trip you will see the deep blue Geiranger fjord alongside historic farms up on the hillside. Not the least, you will have the view of the green landscape and the high magnificent mountains. You may also see some of the wildlife under the surface and paddle with the fishes of Geiranger fjord.

Who can join the trip?

This trip is for everybody. It fits both the ones who have paddled before and for the ones who never even have touched a kayak. The instructors are experienced kayakers and are certified by the Norwegian Paddle federation.

The kayaks we use are stable and comfortable sit-on-top fjord kayaks. They are especially nice for beginners and does not demand any prior knowledge about paddling. The kayaks fits everybody and even children can rent kayaks with an adult. We offer both single and double kayaks for individuals, families and other groups.
