Fishing Stavanger - MS Rapp

Book

Catch fish and amazing memories. Since the Viking Age, Norway has been a nation of sailors and fishermen. Saltwater flows through our veins and the right angling techniques have during the ages been genetically imprinted in our DNA. Fishing is both a way of life and a form of art for Norwegians.

Fishing Stavanger invites you to take part in this Norwegian tradition and lifestyle aboard this 50' vintage fishing vessel MS Rapp. The captain has been fishing almost all his life, and you have a chance to catch cod, ling, cusk, haddock, whiting, pollock, mackerel and more in water depths ranging from 40 - 80 metres.

Fishing Stavanger specialises in providing the best fishing experience in Stavanger creating customised fishing trips for their clients based on their preferences. In addition to the scheduled 3-hour fishing trips during the summer season, they offer half-day trips, day trips and multi-day trips on a private charter. They provide fishing gear for normal water depths up to approx. 100 metres.

MS RAPP is certified for 12 passengers and children are of course welcome. On board, you will find GPS, a fish finder and a toilet. Under the deck, there is comfortable seating for 12 people in a central heated area.

Every fisherman knows that a great catch is more than just the thrill of the moment - it creates lifelong memories and stories to tell for years to come. The crew on MS Rapp wants to create and share those memories with you. With amazing guides, local expertise and some of Norway's best fishing waters, it's really just up to the fish to bite.
