Drive a snowmobile through the snow-covered mountains of Northern Norway on an evening excursion with the chance to see the Northern Lights.
This tour is operated by North Experience.
Travel from Tromsø to North Experience’s basecamp in Hatteng, where a hot meal will be served on arrival. Afterwards, you will receive warm winter clothing and equipment before your guide provides a safety briefing and practical instructions on how to operate the snowmobile.
The excursion follows a 20 km trail through varied terrain and into the snow-covered mountains. Several stops will be made along the way, giving you time to take photos and enjoy the Arctic landscape.
Two guests share each snowmobile, with one driver and one passenger. You will have several opportunities to switch places during the excursion, allowing both participants to drive if they hold a valid driving licence.
As the tour takes place in the evening, you may also be lucky enough to see the Northern Lights if conditions are favourable. Sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Minimum age to participate: 12 years. Children aged 12–15 must be at least 140 cm tall.

Please bring: Warm woollen base layers and a valid driving licence if you wish to drive the snowmobile

Duration: Approx. 7 hours and 45 minutes, including transport. You will spend approx. 1.5–2 hours on the snowmobile.
