Escalón by Fløibanen funicular has a unique intimate atmosphere. The menu consists of varied tapas dishes with classics such as meatballs and bacon dates.
Escalón Fløien was the first Escalón restaurant that opened in 1998. The name Escalón comes from when the founder, Trond Kjellevold, opened a flamenco bar in Malaga in the 80s called "Escalón". When several years later he pioneered tapas in Norway, there was no doubt that the name of the restaurant should remain.
The informal and friendly atmosphere has always been Escalón's characteristics and our goal is that you will always get good food in relaxing surroundings at a reasonable price. The goal is for every guest to have a positive experience, whether enjoying a glass of wine or joining a grand tapas festival with friends and family. The restaurant has seating for 54 guests.
Welcome!
¡Que aproveche!
