Edvard Grieg Museum Troldhaugen
Edvard Grieg Museum Troldhaugen was the home of composer Edvard Grieg for 22 years. He composed many of his best-known works in the little garden hut.
Troldhaugen in Bergen, the home of composer Edvard Grieg, is now a living museum comprising an exhibition centre with shop and cafe, concert hall, composers' cabin and Grieg's villa dating from 1885. Guided tours of the villa run continuously for both groups and individual tourists. It is also possible to hold private concerts in the villa or concert hall. Lunchtime Concerts: Popular concerts available every day from 1 May to 30 September 2017. Tickets for the concert and transport from city center can be booked online. Evening Concerts: Popular concerts available every Sunday from 18 June to 3 September 2017. Tickets for the concert and transport from city center can be booked online. Children under 16 yers old: free entrance.
