E-bike & Hike

This is a 3.5 hour e-bike & hike trip starting from our activity center in Ålesund. We start off with a 20 minute bike ride through the picturesque city center of Ålesund, one of Norway's finest cities on the west coast. After arriving at the bottom of mount Sukkertoppen (sugar loaf mountain) we start our hike up to the top 314 meters above sea level.

The way up takes you through the calm and colourful forest and opens up to magnificent views for the other 3/4 of the hike walking over a the very broad ridge of Sukkertoppen. Once you have reached the top you are rewarded with a 360° panoramic view giving you an overview over the Sunnmøre alps to the southeast, Storfjorden to the east, the North-Sea west and the city of Ålesund at your feet, don’t forget your camera!
