Dogsledding in beautiful Skibotn valley evening tour

Have you ever dreamt of mushing your very own husky team in the Norwegian wilderness? The Alaskan Huskys will great you with excited barking and friendly attitude, willingly pulling the sled into the valley of Skibotn.

This tour is conducted by Active North. We will travel through the pine tree wood and into the beautiful white mountains. We will have a perfect view to the extraordinary mountain range, The Lyngen Alps. An added bonus on the trip is if we are so lucky to see the Aurora Borealis dancing across the sky. Season: 15. December – 31. March (If the snow has not come, we drive with carts) Number of participants: 2-16 Level of difficulty: medium. The dog sledding activity is physically challenging If you have booked with transfer from Tromsø_ Latest meeting time and place in Tromsø: 4.45PM (16:45) outside of Scandic Ishavshotel in Tromsø. Departure time from Tromsø: the bus leaves at 5PM (17:00). Look for a bus direction Skibotn/Hatteng. The bus takes you all the way to the meeting point for the activity in Skibotn. Back in Tromsø around 00.30AM (00:30). If you come to Skibotn by own car: Meeting time and place in Skibotn: 06:45pm (18:45) at Skibotn Spedisjon, Stormyra 1, 9143 Skibotn Duration: 3,5 hours at the Camp (preparations, instructions, 1 hr 45 min dog sledding, hot meal). Plus Transfer go and return Tromsø which takes about 90 minutes each way. Included: English-speaking guide, winter overall suit, boots, mittens and hat. Hot meal (fish soup or bidos) and hot drinks. Transfer go and return Tromsø. Please bring: warm inner layers to have underneath the winter overall suit. Wool or fleece is preferrable.
