At Preikestolen Basecamp's WaterCamp, you’ll enjoy a truly special stay close to the beautiful natural surroundings of Preikestolen.
The Watercamp is situated on the other side of Refsvatnet lake. It takes around 30 minutes to hike, but you can also cross the lake by boat or canoe, which is included in your stay. It’s a five-minute walk from the car park down to the jetty.
At the Watercamp, you can cook your own meals, enjoy the evening by the water’s edge and wake up to the tranquillity and views of Refsvatnet lake.
The campsite has kitchen utensils, but no electricity or running water. There is an outdoor toilet on site, whilst showers and toilets are available at Preikestolen Basecamp, on the other side of the lake.
The Watercamp is for those who want to slow down and experience nature in a slightly different way. It’s perfect for two people looking for an out-of-the-ordinary overnight stay.
Preikestolen Basecamp is just 30 minutes from Stavanger. Here you’ll find a range of different accommodation options.
