fiordo e architettura contemporanea

La zona conosciuta come Tjuvholmen è una recente aggiunta alla variegata collezione di quartieri di Oslo. Gli edifici che compongono l'area sono stati disegnati da circa 20 architetti diversi, creando un esempio concentrato delle tendenze dell'architettura urbanistica contemporanea. Tjuvholmen è anche caratterizzato da spazi esterni elaborati, tra cui diverse opere d'arte umoristiche all'aperto.

Nel punto in cui Tjuvholmen incontra il fiordo si trova una delle nuove attrazioni di Oslo, il museo Astrup Fearnley del maestro Renzo Piano.
