From the parking in Vinddalen, the path follows a river, then the valley opens up at Skåpet. Skåpet is a self-service lodge designed by Estonian Koko Architecture + Design. The facility consists of a main lodge and six private mini-huts which can be rented. The facility has a dry compost toilet, a sauna with a lake view and an outdoor shower.
The spectacular lodge is the gateway to the grid in Frafjordheiane on the south side of the Lysefjord. From Skåpet you can continue to Flørli and Kjerag.
