Niehku Mountain Villa is an award-winning boutique lodge in Riksgränsen, just a 40-minute drive from Narvik. Set in the beautifully restored roundhouse of the historic Iron Ore Railway, the lodge combines contemporary Scandinavian design, warm hospitality and spectacular mountain scenery in the heart of the Scandinavian wilderness.

Named after the Sámi word niehku, meaning "dream", the lodge offers an intimate stay with just 14 rooms and suites, all featuring premium Hästens beds. The restaurant, led by Head Chef Annie Hesselstad, celebrates seasonal ingredients sourced from local producers, with a menu inspired by game, fish and seafood from the surrounding mountains, forests and nearby Atlantic coast. Guests can also enjoy an extensive wine cellar, sauna and relaxation facilities, a fitness room and optional massage treatments. Transfers to and from the lodge can be arranged, and the restaurant welcomes non-resident guests when availability allows.

Throughout the year, Niehku Mountain Villa offers carefully curated outdoor experiences, including snowshoeing, snowmobiling, ski touring, heliskiing and hiking. It's an ideal destination for travellers looking to combine unforgettable Arctic adventures with exceptional comfort, outstanding dining and personal service.
