Jarmann Gastropub is a modern Nordic gastropub at Aker Brygge, offering beautiful views of the Oslo Fjord.



Guests can enjoy a menu built on locally sourced Norwegian ingredients, where traditional flavours meet a modern twist. From Nordic comfort food to fresh seasonal creations, Jarmann Gastropub highlights the best of Norway’s culinary heritage while still serving beloved pub classics.



The bar follows the same philosophy, specialising in Scandinavian spirits, local brands and rotating taps featuring Nordic beers.



Upstairs, the second floor accommodates private groups of up to 60 people, making it a popular spot for seasonal celebrations and gatherings with fjord views.



Jarmann Gastropub takes its name from weapons manufacturer and engineer Jacob Smith Jarmann, who co-founded a mechanical workshop in this very building in 1855, tying the gastropub to Aker Brygge’s rich industrial history.
