Several of the rooms are wheelchair accessible and designed with universal accessibility in mind.

Gamle Fengselet Kulturhotell is located on Stord, within walking distance of Leirvik town centre. Daily express boats connect Bergen to Leirvik, and from the harbour it takes just five minutes to walk to the hotel.

The hotel is also within easy walking distance of the main bus stops in Leirvik. Several daily bus departures connect Stord with both Bergen and Stavanger. If you are arriving by car via the E39 highway, the hotel is only a few minutes from the main road.
