Join a guided hike off the established trails and experience Stetind from less visited areas. Along the way, mountain scenery, local flavors and stories from the area around Norway's national mountains are combined.

This guided hike takes you off the most used trails in the area around Stetind. The goal is to experience the mountain's distinctive profile and the fjords at Kjøpsvik from places that can be reached without the use of climbing equipment.

Along the way, the group moves through rugged mountain terrain and areas few visit. Depending on the season, local berries, mushrooms and plants are picked and cooked and eaten on the tour. This provides a close encounter with the landscape and what grows in the area.

The guide also shares stories about local Sami culture and about climbers who have sought out Stetind over the past 150 years. From the viewpoints, you can also follow climbing sections on various routes up the mountain.

    How to get there

    Walk towards Brugata and through the roundabout. Turn right onto Kinobakken, and then right onto Dronningensgate. Adventure Hub Narvik is located on the right hand side in Dronningensgate 51.
